Sunflower oil is of light amber color with a mild and pleasant flavor made from compressing sunflower (Helianthus annulus) seeds. The smoke point of Sunflower oil is 232 °C (450 °F). This oil is high in essential vitamin E and low in saturated fat. It can be used for many purposes mainly for searing, sauteing, frying in cooking.
